Thorns goes back in time with Planit Events

Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a party to look forward to and this year’s helping from Thorns Group and Planit Events comes complete with a Twenties theme.   Thorns joined the event company to provide a glamorous backdrop for partygoers at the Victoria Embankment Gardens in London. The setting proved to be a stunning success with Thorns providing many hundreds of items including silver banqueting chairs, round tables and utility tables.   Darren Jackson, Account Manager at Thorns, said: “The team at Planit Events are renowned for orchestrating lavish and stunning events . We have worked hard with them to come up with ranges and styles that will complement the Twenties theme of the parties. The whole effect looked stunning.”   Visitors to the Victoria Embankment Gardens were treated to everything from a discotheque to Jazz music and a glitter ball in the heart of the venue.   Thorns has a long association with Planit Events supplying furniture and equipment to the company for the past three years including its highly successful James Bond-themed ‘I Spy Christmas’ in 2007.
