Thorns creates THE Event Show spectacle – bar none!
24 Jan 2007
Enjoying a corporate drink takes on a whole new meaning with the latest hi-tech gadgetry from Thorns Group – on display at the Event Show in London this week.
Taking pride of place on the group’s exhibition stand at Olympia is a stylish new wooden and chrome bar which can be transformed into a stunning bespoke centrepiece. The effect is achieved by backlighting the bar with a client’s corporate colours or company logo – a talking point for any event.
The illuminated bar is just one of the many items on display from Thorns Group, which is the UK’s premier independent supplier of equipment, services and expertise to the events, exhibitions and conference sectors.
Stunning examples of tables, chairs, display equipment and new lines of “Havana” china, “Perception” glassware and “Monteverdi” cutlery are all available for inspection at the two-day show, which opens at Olympia today (January 24). And if potential clients want to see further examples of the wide range of items on offer, they only have to cast their eyes around the Events Show exhibition area – because, yet again, Thorns Group is the official supplier to the show.
Thorns’ Group Sales Director Clair Whitecross said: “The Event Show is a wonderful showcase for the events industry and really brings in the new 2007 season with a bang. It is a great opportunity to network with existing and potential clients and gives Thorns an excellent chance to really demonstrate what an amazing impact our company’s presence can give to any event.”
Thorns’ stand, which is styled in an eye-catching black and silver theme with a hint of pink, is positioned next to another of its stunning creations – the Ion Bar – a key chill-out and networking zone of the show. Delegates can relax on the group’s increasingly popular, funky Vision range of furniture and see other pieces in action at the show’s seminar theatre and the new Innovation and Interaction zones.
More than 4,500 delegates responsible for creating indoor and outdoor events from across the UK and abroad are expected to attend the show.
