Thorns Group extends support to 2006 Showman’s Show

Thorns Group has extended its long-standing support of the Showman’s Show by supplying equipment to power the main exhibition hall at the Newbury Showground.
Thorns’ lighting and power division Classic Technical Services is supplying a range of equipment to provide lighting and electricity power sockets to 105 stands along with general lighting throughout the main hall.
Classic Technical Services – one of four divisions within Thorns Group – provides a broad range of expertise and equipment, including lighting, sound systems, power distribution, plasma screens and audio visual.
Historically Classic has provided technical support for lighting and sound to the main dinner marquee but at this year’s event Account Director Paul Seeney says Thorns’ role will be greater than ever.
He explains: “Thorns has been a supporter of the Showman’s Show for many years and traditionally we have played a key role behind
the scenes in providing technical support in the dinner marquee. We will once again be providing lighting and power in the marquee but, for the first time, we are extending our support this year into the main exhibition hall.”
Meanwhile Thorns Group is also supplying tables, chairs and bars for the Showman’s Show dinner while the company’s colourful ‘Vision Range’ of furniture will brighten the café in the main reception area of the show.
