Thorns Furniture and Catering Hire will be joining the lions and tigers at Knowsley Safari Park on Merseyside for a series of spectacular Christmas party nights this December.

But forget the chimps’ tea party, the company, which is part of Thorns Group — the leading independent supplier to the UK’s events sector — will be providing top-of-the-range, stylish cutlery, crockery, glassware and catering equipment for fabulous black-tie party events.

This is the first time Lord Derby of Knowsley Hall and his famous safari park have ventured into the shared Christmas party market, although the Knowsley Hall offsite events team have many years’ experience of hosting major exclusive events within the grounds of the beautiful 450-acre park.

Thorns already has a regular contract to provide equipment to their spectacular biennial marquee party for the retail chain Matalan and is delighted to be involved with this latest venture.

All the parties will be held in a specially decorated and heated marquee situated within the grounds of Knowsley Safari Park. Each event will cater for hundreds of guests, paying up to £59 per person for a sumptuous four-course meal, music, dancing and casino. The only animals involved will be the wilder party goers and the riotous cabaret act, the Casablanca Boys.
